Outstanding Chimney and Flue Inspection by Paul

I needed my chimney cleaned and repaired. Paul was informative and took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done. He was patient and answered all my questions. His pricing was beyond fair, as i had previously gotten other quotes from 2 other places that were both double the amount Paul gave me. I had asked to speak to Paul's other clients (if possible) and with no hesitation, I was able to check previous work Paul had done for someone else. What a great service! Paul has cleaned my gutters for the last several years. We have tons of leaves and he gets them clean by hand. He's young, strong and very reliable not to mention personable. This year I will have him get the squirrel in my bathroom fan vent out and have him plow the driveway if it snows when we are out of town. He does a terrific job.

Paul was recommended to me for one minor task: to check my fireplace, and now I don't know how we would ever manage without him. Not only has he repaired the bricks in the fireplace that were loose (per previous home inspection), but he also repaired our chimney, cleaned our dryer vent, and cleaned our gutters. I hired Paul because I needed a cleaning and repair done on a chimney. Paul was patient with me and answered every question I had. He also explained in detail everything he would be doing and kept me informed as the job progressed. I had done my research and shopped around for the best pricing. Paul quoted me HALF of what 2 other people had. I didn't hire him for pricing alone, i hired him for a few reasons, one being that he allowed me to connect with another one of his clients. I found him to be professional, helpful and he didn't rush through his work, he went above and beyond to get the work just right. He made sure I was happy. I called two places for a Chimney inspection. The first place never called back after 2 times. The next place gave me a price and said if he finds something wrong he will come back and go down the chimney which would be an additional charge. How does a person know if in fact there is a problem or not? When I spoke to Paul, he was very honest and upfront. I saw his review on being trustworthy which is important. He explained his procedure with inspections with a flat fee. He told me many horror stories from customers using other companies. He mentioned one place estimating a repair by double the price of what he charged. He came to the house and did a thorough job with the inspection. Far more than expected. I would recommend Paul to any one.
